Pastor Jonathan T. Hanna, a native of Nassau, Bahamas, is married to his beautiful wife of 33 years, First Lady, Minister Ruthy Hanna who is also a native of Nassau, Bahamas. Pastor Hanna and First Lady Ruthy moved to Fort Worth, Texas in 1990 to continue their educational studies. However, following the leadership of the Holy Spirit, Pastor Hanna, with his wife by his side, and a handful of members started Agape United Christian Fellowship now located in Sansom Park, Texas twenty-four years ago.

Pastor Hanna graduated from Piedmont Bible College in 1988, where he obtained a Bachelor of Theology degree in Winston Salem, North Carolina. He also obtained a Master of Arts in Religious Education with Church Administration concentration from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas in 1993.

Pastor Hanna has also served as an educator in his local community for over 29 years in various positions from Elementary School Teacher, Behavioral Interventionist, Private School Principal, and Crisis Prevention Institute Instructor.

​

In addition to his many accomplishments, Pastor Hanna is an author of the book, “Marriage for Keeps – The Tailor-Made Plan”, a musician, a composer, and a mentor to many in the ministry. However, one of his greatest accomplishments is being a father to many including his daughters Raigan and Renee, and now a first time grandfather to his granddaughter Rose.

Pastor Hanna considers it an honor and blessing to serve as Pastor of Agape United Christian Fellowship. The leaders and members of Agape are not just members, but they are his beloved family!
