The love of man is can be judgmental, but the love of God is full of forgiveness.
ROMANS 5:8 – But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
PSALM 30:5 – For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.
The love of man is wishy-washy, but the love of God is consistent.
1 CORINTHIANS 13:13 – And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.
EPHESIANS 3:17-19 – …so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. The love of man can be harmful, but the love of God protects.
DEUTERONOMY 7:8 – But it was because the LORD loved you and kept the oath he swore to your forefathers that he brought you out with a mighty hand and redeemed you from the land of slavery, from the power of Pharoah kind of Egypt.
The love of man can take all you have, but the love of Christ is full of grace.
EPHESIANS 6:24 – Grace to all who love our Lord Jesus Christ with an undying love.
EPHESIANS 2:4-5 – But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions – it is by grace you have been saved.
The love of man can cause turmoil, but the love of Christ breeds peace and joy.
1 PETER 1:8 – Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy.
PSALM 126:2 – Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. Then it was said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.”
The love of man is self-centered, but the love of Christ is self-sacrificing.
JOHN 15:13 – Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.
GALATIANS 2:20 – I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
EPHESIANS 5:2 - …and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
The love of man has limits, but the love of Christ is endless.
JOHN 14:15-16 – If you love me, you will obey what I command. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever…
JOHN 3:16 – For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
